Patrons Retrieve Digital Newspaper Records from a PC Workstation (or Tablet)

The Digital ReeL newspaper microfiche scanning solution includes a browser-based application (see quick videos here). Patrons are able to easily access and scan your digital microfiche records. Users conduct research by leveraging your existing index (e.g. newspaper title, year, month, day). Users can also leverage built-in full text search to use words (e.g. names) and numbers (dates) to locate any article or photo. Users can then enhance difficult to read text or grainy photos with built-in adjustable grayscale. From there, patrons can save, print or email desired articles and images right from the Digital ReeL interface.
