You Access Your Digital Records from a Web Viewer

Digital ReeL includes an application that you access through a web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer). You can see that we enable patrons to access records from a PC (or tablet) and easily scroll through digital microfilm or microfiche replicas.

Digital ReeL enables users to drill down using the same index used with your physical microfilm archive (e.g. newspaper title, year, month, day). The newspaper microfilm conversion solution also includes full-text search so that patrons can use words and numbers to locate records (e.g. search using a name or event). Adjustable grayscale is also included which allows patrons to enhance the quality of photos and text that otherwise may be difficult, even impossible to read.
