BMI Exhibits at AACRAO and Continues Higher Education Relationships
AACRAO held its 109th annual meeting in Columbus, OH, and BMI exhibited to continue existing relationships and forge new ones with its members.

The BMI Imaging Systems team set out for Columbus, Ohio for the 2024 American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) conference, a gathering of registrars and admissions officers from across the country. This year marked the 109th annual meeting of AACRAO. AACRAO’s mission is to advance and support a diverse, interconnected community of higher education professionals and the institutions, organizations, and learners they serve.
For decades, BMI has partnered with higher education institutions to work together and provide digital records solutions in order to provide streamlined and effective access to their records. Student records are, of course, a priority, but also included are records from the human resources departments and finance departments, all essential to an organization’s ability to function properly. By helping higher education professionals digitize their records, BMI is assisting them in improving their access to the data and their capability to execute their duties in a productive and efficient way.
BMI Account Executive Jake Walker, who has worked with higher education institutions for more than 10 years, says this: “Digitization projects aren’t typically emergencies. Registrars, admissions officers, and records admins want to digitize but sometimes the resources aren’t available to move on it right away. The AACRAO conference is a great way to stay in touch with people I’ve met over the years and help them determine how to move forward with scanning based on their individual circumstances. They may take months or years to develop to fruition, but we’ve worked with so many of these organizations that we understand much about their cycles and can work together to create a lasting, effective solution.”
