Turn standard computers (or tablets) into easy-to-use digital newspaper record stations

Digital ReeL offers an application that is easily accessed from a web browser. Library patrons log into the application and retrieve articles and photos using the same index available with your physical microfiche archive. For example, if users leverage newspaper title, year, month and day to access articles today, they’ll have access to that same index with Digital ReeL. Patrons can also leverage full text search, which is built into Digital ReeL. For example, type names, dates or events and find all articles associated with the terms. Once articles and photos are found, users can greatly improve the quality of images using adjustable grayscale.
