Digital ReeL Overview 

Digital ReeL is a holistic microfilm conversion solution ideal for Wisconsin companies and government agencies (e.g. title insurance, utilities, education, recorders, courts, building departments). The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution starts with the conversion of your microfilm to virtual, digital microfilm rolls at one of our secure California facilities (on-site option is also available). Our Digital ReeL microfilm conversion service creates a digital replica of your original microfilm or microfiche, converting the entire microfilm roll.

The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution includes an online viewer that emulates microfilm retrieval from a physical reader printer. Employees, customers and citizens simply retrieve virtual microfilm rolls from a computer, avoiding the hassles that come with physical microfilm and legacy reader printers.

Install at Your Location or Leverage the Cloud 

• On Premise: After BMI completes the Wisconsin microfilm conversion service, we deliver your digital records along with the Digital ReeL application to your IT department. They will store and manage the Digital ReeL system, enabling users to access records from a web viewer and the Digital ReeL interface.
• Cloud Option: BMI completes the microfilm conversion service and then hosts your digital records at our secure data center. Your researchers will log into the Digital ReeL web interface client to search and access records.
