BMI Imaging Exhibits At ALA Conference 2024 In San Diego

BMI team went south to San Diego for the 2024 American Library Association Conference.

Sunnyvale, California – July 10, 2024

The American Library Association (ALA) hosted librarians and staff, special guests, publishers, exhibitors, and more this year in San Diego, CA. The ALA is the go-to library event each year, providing educational information about the library industry, hosting guest speakers and authors, and inviting exhibitors who can work with library professionals to improve their libraries.

BMI has worked with libraries, historical societies, and archives organizations for decades and has consistently exhibited at ALA conferences. Attending the ALA conference was a simple decision to showcase its decades of experience working with newsprint and archival records.

The projects that BMI has executed for libraries always pose distinct challenges: one library may need thousands of microfilm reels digitized and hosted for their staff and patrons, and another may have oversize books with bound newspaper articles for scanning. Regardless of the nuances, the goal of each project is to create a more effective way for patrons to access historical records, especially local history, and BMI is there to help the libraries achieve that goal.
