California document management company relies on RagingWire Data Center for secure, reliable digital record storage

Sacramento, California (October 4, 2010) – BMI Imaging Systems, a leading provider of document management, document conversion and microfilm scanning solutions, is pleased to announce that it is utilizing RagingWire Enterprise Solutions, Inc. as its high-density colocation infrastructure provider. The RagingWire Enterprise Data Center® enables BMI to leverage a secure, reliable and highly available IT infrastructure for BMI’s document hosting service.

Bill Whitney, BMI Imaging’s President, explains, “BMI was seeking a colocation provider in Northern California near our Sacramento and Sunnyvale document conversion and microfilm scanning facilities. After touring four other facilities, we concluded that RagingWire’s hardened N+2 reliability, “five nines” of availability and 24×7 customer support would meet our growing requirements. As a document conversion and microfilm scanning company, we digitally convert and host millions of vital business and government agency records. We are confident that RagingWire’s existing 220,000 sq. ft. data center and new 230,000 sq. ft. facility will provide us the necessary infrastructure we’ll need for many years to come.”

BMI’s document hosting service is ideal for companies and government agencies that want to avoid the complexities of managing IT or want to reduce capital expenditures to smaller, monthly expenditures. BMI creates electronic records from paper or microfilm and then hosts those records on behalf of its clients. Users simply and securely retrieve the digital records over the Internet. Whitney states, “RagingWire provides BMI and our clients the peace-of-mind knowing that their mission critical data is supported by a world-class IT infrastructure”.

Yatish Mishra, RagingWire’s President and CEO states, “RagingWire’s N+2 design is its core strength. This advanced data center design allows for concurrent maintainability and extreme fault tolerance. The unique design enables RagingWire to achieve one of the most aggressive maintenance regimes in the colocation industry. Understandably, these efforts protect the critical equipment from failures, but more importantly protect our clients’ businesses.”
