Digital ReeL microfilm scanning solution and law enforcement records management solutions to be demonstrated by BMI Imaging at the up-and-coming
CLEARS Annual Training Seminar in Monterey, California

Sunnyvale, California – October 16, 2013 – BMI Imaging Systems, a leading provider of microfilm scanning services and California law enforcement records management solutions announced today that it will be attending the California Law Enforcement Association of Records Supervisors (CLEARS) Conference at the end of the month.

CLEARS is a non-profit organization made up of over 500 California law enforcement and criminal justice agencies. One of the key missions of CLEARS is to provide ongoing training in the technical and legal aspects of law enforcement records management. CLEARS keeps all members up-to-date on the latest records management technologies and changes in legislation.

BMI provides a full suite of document scanning and management solutions for law enforcement agencies – police departments, sheriffs, probation offices, prisons and prosecutors/district attorneys. BMI’ document management solutions help eliminate paper and microfilm while enabling agencies to more efficiently archive and access information while reducing public response times to inquiries.

BMI will be demonstrating its unique microfilm scanning solution, Digital ReeL. Digital ReeL is a practical, affordable virtual microfilm and microfiche solution. BMI digitally converts your microfilm to digital microfilm roll or microfiche replicas, ensuring that no images are lost during the digital microfilm conversion process. Digital ReeL includes a web application that emulates microfilm retrieval from a reader printer so that users avoid the hassles that come with physical microfilm and legacy reader printers.
