Sacramento, Calif. (June 25, 2013) – BMI Imaging Systems, a leading provider of California document management solutions, document hosting and microfilm scanning services, is pleased to announce a new video successfully produced with RagingWire Data Centers at its Sacramento campus. The video offers a tour of RagingWire’s Sacramento Data Center, highlighting BMI’s data center cage and the security, redundancy and availability of the RagingWire data center.
BMI creates digital records from paper or microfilm and then hosts those records on behalf of its clients. BMI’s document hosting service is ideal for companies and government agencies that want to avoid the complexities of managing IT or want to reduce capital expenditures to smaller, monthly expenditures. Users simply and securely retrieve their digital records over the Internet.
Robert Kyhn, BMI Executive Vice President, states “Our customers trust BMI to digitize, store and provide real-time access to incredibly valuable pieces of information. We are a document conversion, document management and records management company and we archive and digitally store terabytes of valuable client information. The reason we have a relationship with RagingWire is to ensure not only access to that information but also that this data stays safe.” As an example, a citizen in Ohio may access a land record from a County Recorder application supported by BMI Imaging. That record is accessed from a BMI server sitting within the RagingWire facility.
Kyhn continues, “This is a trust relationship. We are storing permanent records and in some cases these are one-of-a-kind, valuable records. Our clients trust us that we are going to do the best possible job of digitally converting these records and then providing real-time access to these records from the Internet.”
