With the holiday spirit that comes at the end of every year, our employees wanted to get out of the office and give back to our community.
This year we chose to work with Family Giving Tree, an organization that started in 1990 whose mission is: “By inspiring community kindness, generosity, and volunteerism, The Family Giving Tree fulfills exact holiday wishes and provides backpacks filled with STEAM-based school supplies to those in need.”
Our group of volunteers worked with Family Giving Tree before the Christmas holiday and helped wrap presents for children in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the mission of Family Giving Tree states, most of the presents are geared towards school supplies, but of course there were fun gifts, too!
We had a great time and enjoyed working with the friendly staff of Family Giving Tree, and appreciate the opportunity to do something nice for others.
